Jim McConnery
President

Jim joined Welch LLP in 1994 after graduating from the University of Ottawa where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours in Finance. He received his CA designation in 1997. Jim was with a national accounting firm’s tax group for 10 years and returned to Welch LLP in 2007. Jim is a Tax and Estate Practitioner and has a wide range of tax expertise. Jim provides assistance to individuals and private companies with a particular focus on estate and succession planning. He has been involved in educational programs for both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.


Candace Enman
COO

Candace Enman has more than 15 years of financial and management experience.She has played key roles in all aspects of growing a business in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. Candace believes that successful businesses do more than keep score, they build value from the ground up, and she brings that philosophy to all of her engagements.
Her personal time is spent with her husband and their two very energetic little boys.


Marc Rouleau
Vice President

Marc Rouleau has been providing financial and business advisory services to public and private sector clients since 1988.Trained as a Chartered Accountant, Marc is able to quickly identify the daily challenges owners face in growing their business’s value. Chairman’s View is one tool Marc and his team rely upon to pinpoint challenges and ensure affirmative action is taken.Throughout his career, Marc has also managed and audited several federal government programs including work with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, Canadian International Development Agency, the National Research Council and Agriculture Canada.
Outside the office, Marc is married with 3 children who are active in a variety of studies, sports and musical endeavours. Marc is a past-president of the Ottawa Chartered Accountant Association and the Quebec Association of Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional as well as a past Treasurer of the Big Brothers Association of Ottawa. Marc is also a former Big Brother.

Bruce Raganold
Director of Business Development

With over nine years experience Bruce has been responsible for increasing the profile of Welch LLP throughout the business community. He has been directly involved in Welch LLP’s acquisition of new clients and matching them with the firm’s resources, as well as potential business partners, referrals and clients.

Bruce’s role is to represent and grow business for Welch LLP and WelchGroup Consulting in the Ottawa market and to help maximize the value clients get from their accounting, tax, and business advisor relationship.
